Engine in and fired up. Running great with no leaks. Now if only the rest of the bike was as new as the engine is.

Out with old

In with the new. Not running yet but almost done.

New motor

I purchased a motor from eBay with 300 miles on it. Yes 300. Basically brand new and had been sitting for years. I dropped the oil screen and everything looks fresh. I'm going to clean and freshen everything on the bike before I put it back together.

Motor swap stage 1. Fairings, tank, carbs, exhaust removal.

Maiden voyage on the ninja 250 and a bearing that may have been going for a while finally let go.

Function over Form

I recently bought a 2004 Ninja 250 as a commuter bike and also to put some serious miles on.  I'm looking forward to ease of maintenance, going slow, and fingers crossed for 70 mpg.  Should be a good fall riding season.
