CT to Maine in 3 Days
In October I took a trip to Maine to see my ancestors. The temps dipped down to 38 but my suit kept me warm. 8 hours each way from where I am in CT. Stayed at the Orland House in Orland Maine. Great beer selection across the street. Rode to Penobscot and Bar Harbor as well. Had a great time.
Harley Ironhead
My 77 Harley XLH project.
Just picked this up for $1000 with a rebuilt motor. No smoke, pretty dry. I figure anything that runs is a good deal. Going to paint it deep purple, replace everything that needs to be replaced, put some custom pegs on it and just ride. Going to have to rewire the whole thing I think. It will be ready for Laconia 2014.
